But did you know about the sister islands in the U.S.? Located just over 1,000 miles from Miami, the U.S. Virgin Islands are located in the eastern Caribbean and just celebrated its 100th anniversary of the Danish West Indies becoming the Virgin Islands of the United States — which means, you don’t need a passport to travel to paradise.
